Life Long Learning
Lifelong learning is an integral part of a profession in Health Coaching services. As a Member of HCA, professional members are required to earn a minimum of 20 CE credits per year for the first 5 consecutive years, and 10 CE Credits thereafter, to maintain membership status and hold their designations.
By becoming an approved program with HCA you gain direct access to our members. This enables you to offer your courses, and / or educational sessions, products and services or conferences to a target market of health professionals looking to further their knowledge base and grow their practices.
Types of Programs We Accept
Specialized Education
Educational institutions and independent educators may apply to partner with HCA to have their additional courses that fall outside of the Health Coach approved programs, offered for Continuing Education Credits. Courses must be industry relevant and geared towards professional advancement.
Some course topics may include, but are not limited to business topics, law, health and nutrition specializations, cooking classes, fitness, social media, blogging and marketing, lab diagnostics, client management, Ayurvedic studies, essential oils, speciality meal planning, homeopathy, aromatherapy, medical conditions, chinese medicine, herbal remedies etc.
Some course topics may include, but are not limited to business topics, law, health and nutrition specializations, cooking classes, fitness, social media, blogging and marketing, lab diagnostics, client management, Ayurvedic studies, essential oils, speciality meal planning, homeopathy, aromatherapy, medical conditions, chinese medicine, herbal remedies etc.

All fees are priced in Canadian Dollars. All courses are subject to a review prior to being accepted and posted for our members.
In order for HCA to complete the review process, we require temporary full access to your program so we may determine:
1) How many credits to award your program. This is determined by several factors including duration of the program(s) and the quality and level of learning our members will engage in.
2) Whether or not your program content is relevant and appropriate for our members.
3) Is the program in line with our scope of practice and code of ethics?
Your information is secure and will never be used or shared outside of the review process.
*If you are an approved school, you may submit your continuing education courses for 50% off within the first year after approval.
**Non-profit organizations may be eligible for a 25% discount.

One Time Events
Independent Instructors or groups holding conferences, lectures or seminars may post their events with us.
Your events will be posted in the CE Centre while applicable. Your event will also be posted on our public events page along with a post that will appear in our newsletter & social media.
Non-profit organizations may receive a 25% discount on pricing.

Product & Service Educational Sessions
Our members are constantly asking for advice on which business tools, supplements, and products we recommend. The need for product and service knowledge is a constant conversation with our members. A great way to reach them is by providing an educational session. These courses must provide no less than a 80% learning component related to their field and up to a maximum of 20% product sales.
The topics must be relevant to our member community and are subject to review and approval prior to being presented.
Please note that we will not accept a full sales session and the split must be strictly adhered to.
You may teach this course for no fee if you offer an evergreen discount of 10% or more to our members. The discount must be in effect for a minimum of one year from the info session. This discount does not get shared with the public and is a member perk only. This is our most popular option as it benefits everyone involved.
